Ask Evergreen to Allow Matt Back on Campus

The easiest way you can help Matt is by sending messages to the people who allow their (Matt prefers gender-neutral pronouns) suspension to continue. You can phone and email them using the information below or use our online petition to send a personalized message.

Art Constantino (VP of Student Affairs) CostantA@evergreen.edu (360) 867-6296
Andrea Seabert-Olsen (Campus Grievance Officer) seaberta@evergreen.edu 867-6296

Les Purce (President of Evergreen) PurceL@evergreen.edu (360) 867-6100

If you are a prospective student or parent of one who is looking at going to Evergreen next year, your opinion is especially valuable to the school. Many people are attracted to Evergreen because our community is dedicated to social justice, free speech, transparency, active community involvement, and equitable governance but Matt’s suspension is a stain on that image. Campus safety is everybody’s issue and we would like to think we go to a school where people are allowed to make their own decisions as individuals and groups about safety. Please contact Admissions and let them know your opinion about Matt’s suspension and if that may impact your decision to enroll at Evergreen:

(360) 867-6170 admissions@evergreen.edu

Please keep your communications firm, informative, and polite.

Spread the Word

In order to reverse Matt’s suspension, we’re going to need a whole lot of people who care about this situation to raise their voices. Help us find them by linking to our blog, talking to your friends about Matt’s situation, and liking our facebook page.
